Explore Global Education at Saint Michael's College

There are a number of majors, minors, and other programs at Saint Michael’s College that provide students with in-depth plans of study to build global and intercultural competency. Some majors require a deep exploration of world communities, languages, trends, and events, while other minors, programs, and certificates offer global complements to any major, certificate, or program. A thoughtful means of building global competency — increasingly considered an essential liberal arts learning outcome — is to participate in one or more high-impact co-curricular opportunities such as study abroad or international internships, combined with a globally-themed major or minor, the combination of which helps students develop skills such as critical global thinking and understanding, cross-cultural communication and awareness, and humility and cultural empathy.
